Still tryin to figure out why he deserved that; at least non more in tears, thanks to his perfect fitting googles ;)
These are the second pair of RexSpecs Gracie May has (her old pair were fine but I wanted to treat her to a new pair) - the improvements are just fabulous. These specs mean that my girl can go out in bright light; she has eye problems. She can do everything other dogs do with her specs.
Your company has not just stayed still with a good product, you have kept innovating, I can feel your love and care of dogs in the new product Gracie now has.
Of course Gracie is stopped everywhere she goes as people are naturally curious, she wows everyone looking super cool! People then learn she has eye problems and they are happy she has a solution. Some people have written the product name down as they know someone who has a dog with eye problems. This always makes me feel good as I know the difference RexSpecs has made for Gracie.
I just wish we had a retailer/supplier in this country (UK). That’s a job I’d be honoured to take on.
Thank you so much for giving my girl her life back.
I love these and have my dogs wear them everywhere! Beach, woods, on the SUP and ATV, etc. Eska even wore hers on a plane. They work perfectly well in winter too and I haven't had a single issue with fogging up even when it's record-breaking Canadian cold. Training went really well for both of mine following the guidelines set be Rexspecs. As long as you don't rush it, your dog will be fine! I find after the first few minutes they even forget they are wearing them. I'm so glad their eyes are protected now :)
I got these for my service dog to wear for a concert we were going to. They worked great! My pup didn’t act at all bothered by the high levels of noise or even sudden, dramatic beat drops on the drums. My only complaint is that these don’t seem to be made with long-eared dogs in mind - my pup is a beagle/pointer mix and has floppy ears that had to be carefully positioned in order to keep from being pinched or uncomfortable under the material. That said though, they’re definitely worth the money, and I recommend them to any working teams in loud environments!
Way less fussy than other types of doggles. I got a size small for my westies and it fits both perfectly.
We use them everywhere, but they came in handy for a recent beach trip and everyone got a kick out of them!
My German shepherd Jett was recently diagnosed with Pannus. Saw these
Googles and didn’t even hesitate to pay the asking price. It took Jett several sessions to get used to them but now he wears them proudly! 10/10 would recommend
Fits really well. I would probably be best to get a bigger size (L) for our blue heeler but still fits great and looks comfortable. It took very little for her to adapt and stop trying to take it off. Still doesn't love it after 1 month or so, but it's some progress.
My dog was a rescue with serious eye infections. The vet suggested goggles because she was sensitive to light. I bought a cheap pair but she didn’t take to them. I bought the Rex goggles and followed their break in instructions and in a couple of days she was fine in them. As soon as she got the dark lenses in she started looking all around. Outside she is more active and at ease. On a visit to the vet, everyone loved her goggles. Turns out the vet sells them too but didn’t have the smaller ones. Her eyes are improving and the goggles are protecting them.
Having a dog that is harmful to himself and others during thunderstorms and fireworks; we tried the Ear Pro!!! HUGE HUGE HUGE SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!! He can actually lay down and SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!! From soo much anxiety he would draw blood on himself AND us trying to keep him safe.... to laying down and sleeping...... JUST WOW!!!!
Northwest beaches are notorious for winds. This is great for a kite festival, but when your only a foot tall you're right at sand-blasting level! Our pup thinks his job is to carry shells on the beach and sand constantly blowing in his eyes was interrupting his work. Thanks to Rex Specs this is no longer and issue, plus he looks stylish doing it. He also loves attention and he definitely gets it in these, get used to answering "Where did you get those!?"
We love that it comes with a clear lens as well for night time use or darker days. The lenses are easy to pop out for cleaning and/or swapping.
Also, the Rex Specs support team is awesome, we ordered the regular small first and for our flat nosed dog it didn't fit at all. A few quick emails and the team had us in the right size - ordered the new pair and the old was refunded right when they received them.
The googles do sit close to the eye on the flat faced dogs. If your dog has longer hair you can either keep the hair around the eyes short or slick it back with a little water before you put them on. Note as well, they had recommended at least an inch of nose length for best results. Our dogs is slightly under this so the goggles can slip down when he's overly energetic.
Dog: Shih-Tzu, 20-ish lbs
Our doggo has sensitive eyes and sniffs things eyeballs first. We got him these goggles to combat that when we camp and adventure.
He loves them. Lots of treats and positive reinforcement he asks to put them on whenever we go outside now. Took us 2 days to transition him to the dark lenses.
our seven year old white German shepherd was diagnosed with Pannus an auto immune disease that effects their eyes and triggered by the sun. Steroid eye drops and the dark shaded goggles have saved her eye sight. She also looks cool with her shades on.
