Customers praised this rolled leather collar for preventing neck irritation and matting. Many said it's "super durable and stylish" with "higher quality than expected for the cost." However, one customer reported the metal ring discolored their light-colored dog's neck with black residue after a year of use.

We've always had great success with rolled collars to prevent neck sores/irritation but this is not of the same quality of previous purchases from other sources. The first one arrived damaged/discolored somehow - did not look brand new - I should have taken that as a warning and given up then . After about a year of use, the second one has now discolored the neck of my handsome very light yellow lab. The "paint" on the ring that holds tags has worn off and whatever that thing is made off just emits an awful black greasy discharge onto my dog. I've tried repainting the ring and even covering with nail polish but it wears right through and continues to discolor the neck of my dog. It is very difficult to remove from my dog and then re-stains him as soon as I put the collar back on. I'm going to have to throw this away. Very disappointed. If you have a black dog, it's probably OK but otherwise avoid this collar!!
This collar is built for an adventure dog, and looks great while holding up to all you can encounter on the trails. Love the price point too, higher quality than I expected for the cost!
My pit has thin fur. Other collars turned her neck red and sore. Not with the Rolled Leather collar!
