X-Small Goggles for Dogs - V2

Really a game changer for our dog. He’s a small toy fox terrier, and does not like anything on him coats, shoes, and a cheaper pair of sunglasses stayed on him for all of 10 seconds. It’s like he doesn’t even notice these are on, he has advanced cataracts and on sunny days this has been a game changer for him.

My little Yorkie is deaf and visually impaired. His blue eyes are so sensitive to bright light and particularly the sun light. Right now we are desensitizing him. Soon he will not have to squint in the sun. He also looks so cute with them on.

They are made very welll....My mini dachshund accepted them right out of the box....She has Glaucoma and is blind in her right eye as well this eye originally developed an infection which led to an ulcer that ruptured causing the eye to loose all lenes! She now has to wear her Google's 24/7.......She has been wearing 24/7 now nearly a mont with no difficulty!
My only concern is with the lens......It scratches extremely easily! She wore them just two days and they were very scratched and she is an indoor dog going out to our small yard to potty so see no reason why they scratched so badly so quickly. Now nearly a month wearing the lens is extremely scratched effecting the ability to see through it. Our Opthamologist suggested I contact respects which I did contact the company from which Red had them ship.....They did send a replacement lens at no charge...Said they would bring this issue to the team but couldn't promise a change to improve the lens.....The replacement lens runs $6-$10+ plus ship & handling....With the lens scratching so easily and so quickly in a no hiking, etc. enviroment can you imagine how much will be spent every two weeks or a month from now on? Quite pricy....SO HOPING REX SPECS CAN DEVELOP A MORE DURABLE LENS! Otherwise we love the googles....And Horra!! mini dachshunds can wear the very small size with no issue with the fit!!!!!

We absolutely love these goggles! They’re well-made and feel really durable, which is reassuring. The lens options are a lovely touch – we’ve gone with the orange-pink reflective one, and not only does it look fantastic, but it’s also really functional.

We’ve set ourselves up for success by gradually introducing our 5kg Moyen Poodle to them, taking it slow and steady to help her feel comfortable. She’s usually not a fan of anything around her head or muzzle, but we’re making real progress. We started with just the frame (no lens) for a moment or two, and now she can wear them not only with the transparent lens in, but also with the orange-pink reflective one – even running a few steps while wearing them or doing a calmer tricks for up to 5 minutes at a time with them.

It’s been a thoughtful, gentle process, and we’re really pleased with how it’s going. I’ve attached a few photos and videos of our journey so far – proud of her and so pleased with this purchase!
