Slapped em on my Frenchies and they slept through a good hour and a half of gunfire.

On 8/20 I submitted a question on sizing and ability to adapt the 2 for a small Italian greyhound and never received a reply. I needed to get it in time for a concert out of town so ordered a couple days later to try it . It was way too big. And trying to alter it for her head would ruin integrity of the product. Someone with a petite dog claimed they did that, I don’t see how. Anyhow, it’s very frustrating as I did email to ask if smaller is available or recommending alters. Nothing, just return option. I travel
For a living and getting this in the mail with will be a process and I have to pay for the postage. Strange in this day and age of direct to consumer and would have been avoided completely if had just responded to the request first information in advance

Star is a 12-year old greyhound with a terrible sensitivity to loud noises like lightening and fireworks. Each 4th of July and New Year's Eve, I take her to a friend's home where she will stay for a few days to avoid the loud and ongoing fireworks in my neighborhood. If she does stay at home, she is medicated and, even with the meds, she paces and drools and pants for hours. So, after reading about Rex Specs Ear Pros, I figured we could try this since Thunder Shirts, Happy Hoodies, blaring TV/music, and even meds were not doing the trick. So, this past July 4th we stayed home and tried our new Ear Pros. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. She was sleeping, she was calm with no panting or pacing, she wasn't medicated and she even went outside to potty as fireworks were being shot on the street behind me. I was shocked. While I can't say that the Ear Pros completely eliminated any noise, they obviously eliminated enough for her to actually be comfortable and sleep. I would highly recommend this product and they were a game changer for us. You have to order the correct size - I measured 3 times since I thought the size would be too small, but it wasn't. Expect a snug fit, but I didn't see any discomfort from this. Also, the ear area was perfect for her ears and was very dense foam that is concaved so the ears fit snugly inside the foam, and I think the compression of the hoodie also helps. I think I can say that I won't have to start stressing weeks before a holiday since we had such a good experience on our first try with these.

They seem to do well with sound, but I had an extremely hard time getting them on my dogs head. Was so tight he had a hard time breathing. His head measured just about an inch smaller than the largest size.
