The Ear Pro product is really wonderful and it works to block out noise for my dog, but these are definitely made for bigger dogs. This is my second pair (we tried 2 sizes) and the padding is just too big for the side of my dogs head (front to back orientation) so it ends up too far forward, pushing on her eyes. So far this is the only product that works for her during thunder and fireworks so we make it work as best as we can— which requires me to always keep an eye on her and constantly readjust to protect her eyes. If there’s ever an opportunity for better sizing on the padding we will definitely buy those!!
Easy to put on and take off my lab. Soft material and durable. Really like having the pull on the top rather than dealing with buckles. Easy for her to take off in an emergency as she can paw this off if ever she needed. Recently used them in a helicopter training exercise. Seemed to drown out all sounds for her very well. Note; so well that hand signals (sit, stay, down, etc.) were needed as opposed to voice. Make sure to measure for the right fit. My lab is on the small size (58-60 pounds), I ordered a large. Fits her perfect. We fit this on a larger lab on the team and it was too small.
Fits perfectly and gives VuDu more confidence at the range.
This product looks great and can tell it will last, however the sizing seems a bit off. I measured per the website instructions, and have measured my dog’s head accurately for other products (different companies), but the earmuffs seem too tight in the throat sleeve. I can hear it constricting her breath. I might need a larger size, though I’m not sure I’d want to gamble with it.
My 8 year old goldendoodle has been terrified of thunder and fireworks since she was a puppy. She goes into the bathroom and refuses to move. I saw an ad for these and figured I’d try them. Today, we had storms and she actually stayed out of the bathroom. I ordered the 3 and 4 because I wasn’t sure what size. She is 65 pounds. The 3 fits but it’s definitely tighter. Since I’m only using it for noise that scares her I’m going to stick with the 4
