My SAR K9 Scout is certified to ride in a Helo to a search insertion. He wore another brand, but he now wears his Rex Ear Protection which is so much better. His old one could easily but knocked off his head. His Rex Ear Protection is a part of his head. He wears them along with his Rex Specs eye protection. His new ear protection will also be much better for him when we are working around loud music and in these cases, Scout reads my hand signals to him.
I bought this for my 90 lb GSD/Border Collie mix. I watched the video on how to size your dog and used the size guide to measure my dog as well. My dog measured 18 inches so we chose to go with the the largest size (size 4). Thank god we did because even the largest size is VERY tight. While the product is extremely well made and I’ve never been disappointed with any Rex Specs products I’ve purchased, I just wish there was a little more adjustability with this product. While I know it has to be snug to do its job, it’s so tight I’m a bit concerned that it’s uncomfortable for my dog. I’m a little on the fence about it right now but going to give it a shot because it is such good quality.
We had some very severe tstorms yesterday in Kentucky & moving here from New England, the storms seem to be much more intense, since we're more in the jet stream.
Up until the move, my dog was ok with thunder. With the intensity here, she is a little bit anxious, but I've been working her through it. Yesterday, however....the thunder was massive & relentless, so I her her EarPro on her, hoping it might help & it did! She could still hear it, but I think at a much lower level, based on her body language. As a trainer, I prefer to desensitize reactive behavior, but in some circumstances, a quality "tool" helps. I had originally bought this for swimming, but now it's dual purpose! Thank you for a great product & I will be recommending it to my clients. I also have the goggles & love them, as well!
This product is amazing - simple and effective. I discarded the MuttMuffs I had previously purchased. My Schnauzers actually seem to be clamed when wearing your product and curl up on my C-185F back-seat cheerfully during taxi, before we even arrive at the runway Hold-Short line !! Thank you!!
design looks good. The size 2 was too big for my miniature schnauzer. I tried to contact the seller for a return. I got no response.
