When we first launched Rex Specs we knew very little about the working dog world. Immediately, we were struck by the importance of dogs in many of our defense and civil service organizations. These working K9s and their handlers live and breath the inspiration for Rex Specs – to “get outside” with your dog and grow the unmatched partnership one can create with their canine partner.

Over the past year, Rex Specs K9 has supported a variety of working dog organizations and rescue shelters. We are honored to be able to provide product and support to these organizations.

Spikes K9 Fund aspires to ensure every K9 receives exactly what they need every time. The fund provides gear to keep them safe and comfortable during and after peak operation. Spikes K9 Fund enables critical medical treatment to help them return to work or live their retirement days in complete health.

The United States War Dog Association provides assistance and support to U.S. Military Working Dog Teams – critical care and comfort for Military Working Dogs and their handlers bother during and after deployment.

Embrace the Suck 22 raises awareness of suicide prevention for both civilian and veteran demographic groups. Suicide being the 10th leading cause of death in the United States, we are here to help the community by providing, and creating network awareness, independent research, event funding, blogging and encouraging people to help fight this epidemic together as a community.

Warriors 4 Heros provides services and support to veterans, first responders and their families. By providing highly trained service dogs to them we can give them a chance to regain independence that may have been compromised by combat or other situations. Service dogs can be trained to preform many task to aid a person’s disability. The service dogs that Warriors 4 Heroes can provide are PTSD/TBI, Mobility, Seizure, D.A.D (diabetic alert dog) and Autism service dogs. Warriors 4 Heroes is also dedicated to help serve the families of our Heroes. If a Hero has an immediate family member that is facing a disability we want to help ease some of that burden.

Snow Capped Shepherd Rescue rescues abandoned, abused, neglected and stray German Shepherd mixes. We do not have a shelter, instead all of our rescued dogs are housed with caring foster families…a temporary stop on their way to happily-ever-after.
