We live and hike in Colorado, and DYNO has sensitive eyes. These RexSpecs have been a game-changer for us! They let him run around the trails without worry of a branch poking him and provide much-needed sunlight protection in the bright high-altitude Colorado sun.
Even better, he now wears them when he plays fetch. Seeing how he can catch the ball more consistently with them on is incredible. They enhance his vision via sun protection and don't hinder his play.
These goggles are comfortable for him, as he doesn't paw at them, and they don't leave any marks on him. The included training videos were a fantastic help in teaching him to wear them comfortably.
Whenever I bring out his RexSpecs, DYNO gets super excited because he knows he’s going on a hike or playing fetch. These goggles have been worth every penny. We couldn't be happier with our RexSpecs purchase. Highly recommended!
Really well designed and made goggles. Fit is spot on for my Irish Terrier. Training videos were really helpful in getting her used to wearing them, now my dog is ATGATT when we motorcycle!
Igor needs to wear them due to an autoimmune disease (pannus) and while he would rather be out playing without them…he is so good about them.
I have a 118 lb GSD, that was recently diagnosed with Pannus, an eye disease. The Vet told me with eye drops and keeping the dog out of the sun (UV rays) he should be able to keep his vision. I found out about Rex Specs and bought a pair of tinted ones for him. Training him to wear them was fairly easy and it allows him to continue to go outside anytime of day and play with his favorite ball. They are very well built and designed and are easily adjustable. If they are good enough for the military and police dogs then they are definitely good for my hound. Buy them you won’t regret it.
Our little Mini has eyes that are sensitive to the sun and Rex Specs helps significantly. Her eyes are drier and her fur is not stained from teary eyes when she wears her Rex Specs. We used doggles and our little smarty pants figured out how to wiggle them off. Rex Specs stay ON. No worries that the harsh SW Utah sun will get to her pretty little eyes while she is wearing her fashionable Res Specs!
